All are welcome to join us for drinks at Village Brewing Company in Somerville, NJ from 9pm-11pm. Please let us know if you are planning on coming so we can let the bartender know. For the stout of heart and broad of liver, the fun doesn't have to stop at 11pm (though it will for the bride and groom): the bar is open until 2am. The address is below (about a 15 minute drive from the hotels):
Village Brewing
34 W Main St
Somerville, NJ 08876
For transit heads, the Somerville stop is on the NJ transit Raritan Line, and the bar is an easy walk from the station, but there is no easy route there if you're staying at the hotels.
Progamming note: We'll be wrapping up our rehearsal dinner beforehand, so if you get to Village Brewing early feel free to have a drink in the main area outside the event space or at another bar/restaurant nearby (it's a fun, busy area).
We have arranged a 56-passenger bus to pick up guests from each of the two hotels below (Delta Hotels Basking Ridge and Courtyard Basking Ridge) and drive to the venue on the day of the wedding. It will make repeated trips back and forth for the rest of the day, so whenever you're done for the evening you can head back to your room!
The bus will make two round trips prior to the start of the ceremony. The timetable is below (note that these are departing times; be there for boarding a little earlier):
If you're ready early, consider taking that earlier bus and spend some time socializing at the venue.
Guests not staying at the hotels are welcome to park at one of the hotels and ride the bus. You can also park on the street near the venue, but note that parking will be limited.
Our wedding ceremony will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at the Asaro residence in Far Hills, NJ. Hotel check-in is after this time, so please plan accordingly. Reception and cocktail hour will take place at the same location.
Don't worry, the ceremony itself is only 15 minutes (very Presbyterian), but we're leaving plenty of time for seating, bus unloading, etc. You still should be on time!
For privacy reasons, we are not posting the address for the wedding venue online as it is a private home. You can find the address on your mailed invitation, or email us at shandrew1011 [at] gmail [dot] com.
With cute small bites! Same location as ceremony.
After the ceremony, the bus will make round trips between the venue and each hotel, leaving once every 40 minutes or so. You can leave whenever you're pooped, or your little person is pooped!
Same location as ceremony.
Party time! Same location as ceremony.
It's gonna be good. Same location as ceremony.
This is a house, so people are welcome to linger (within reason). Final bus trip departs at 10pm.
The bus will be running return trips to both hotels throughout the reception, starting after first dances have concluded. Here are the bus return trip departure times (so we will be boarding a little earlier):
This is an informal post-wedding brunch, also at the Asaro residence (same place as the ceremony). All are welcome, but we are planning on accomodating those who indicated they were attending on their RSVP forms. If your plans have changed, email us at shandrew1011 [at] gmail [dot] com!
This time we did not arrange a bus! There is street parking at the house, but consider carpooling or using a taxi or Uber/Lyft.
